Michael Korbin is a Partner in the labour and employment group at Farris LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia. He advises and represents employers in a broad range of workplace and employment matters, including labour arbitrations, labour board proceedings, human rights complaints, workers’ compensation matters, employment standards disputes, and wrongful dismissal actions.
Michael acts for employers across a variety of industries and sectors, including post-secondary institutions, newspapers, supermarkets, transportation companies, printing companies, beverage companies, telecommunications providers, biotech companies, occupational health and safety organizations, real estate agencies, and retail and service sector employers. His practice includes advising clients on workplace policies, employee relations, discipline and termination issues, collective agreement interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
