Mr. Maher has been president of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the world’s largest association of trial lawyers with more than 60,000 members, fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, selected by the American Board of Trial Advocates, inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers and was named Florida Trial Lawyer of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates.Mr. Maher is in great demand on the lecture circuit and his writings on the challenges and future trends affecting individual rights and free access to our court system have appeared in numerous publications. His professional activities, memberships, and associations exemplify his commitment to client representation and to the leadership of lawyers across the nation dedicated to defending and protecting client rights.
Michael Maher is a graduate of Rollins College (Bachelor of Arts, 1963) and Stetson University College of Law (Juris Doctorate, 1965). He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Florida Justice Association (FJA) and the Orange County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeal, the District of Columbia Bar, the New York Bar and all state courts in Florida.
