Michael Igel is a Board-Certified Health Law attorney and Chair of the Health Care Team at Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns LLP in St. Petersburg, Florida. He represents health care providers, physician groups, health systems, private equity investors, and other health care businesses in transactional, regulatory, operational, and litigation matters. His practice areas include Business Organizations (including LLCs and Partnerships), Litigation - Health Care, health care mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, licensing, outside general counsel services, and Medicare and Medicaid audit defense.
Michael advises clients throughout all stages of health care transactions, including entity formation and structuring, due diligence, negotiation, drafting, and closing. He has experience representing buyers and sellers in transactions involving physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, management companies, and other health care organizations.
