Micah B. Hensley

Micah Hensley focuses his practice on patent and trademark matters associated with intellectual property law. Micah counsels clients on legal issues including freedom to operate, patentability, and licensing. Working closely with his team, he advises on strategic patent portfolio management and works with patent agents preparing and prosecuting patent applications. In addition, Micah has experience with IP litigation, preparing briefs and memoranda for district court and USPTO post-grant proceedings. Micah’s clients include multinational corporations, start-ups, and first time inventors.

Prior to joining the firm, Micah was an IP Associate at an AmLaw 50 firm, a law clerk for a Fortune 100 company, and a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Joan Humphrey Lefkow, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Micah also has significant technical experience, working as an engineer at a manufacturing company.
