As an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Litigation Practice Area, Meredith A. Canter represents clients in Eminent Domain, Trust and Estate Litigation, Guardianship Litigation, and Fiduciary Litigation. Within her eminent domain litigation practice, Meredith has developed a specialized knowledge of eminent domain law. Meredith leverages her knowledge of government and construction regulations to guide clients through eminent domain proceedings, from the initial acquisition phase through litigation. In addition to her eminent domain practice, Meredith has represented clients with respect to the administration of Guardianship, Probate, and Trusts. Meredith’s experience extends to litigation of issues surrounding these practice areas including inheritance disputes, fiduciary disputes, contested wills and trusts, guardianship disputes, elder exploitation injunctions and lawsuits, and other contested probate matters.
Meredith is involved in cases through all stages of litigation, including legal research; drafting agreements, pleadings, motions, and discovery; negotiating settlement agreements; and serving as co-counsel on trial strategy, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
