Melissa Timbres has a general solicitor’s practice, focused on banking and finance, commercial real estate, land development, and corporate commercial transactions.

Melissa advises clients on a range of commercial matters, including with respect to commercial real estate purchase and sales, land development contracts, secured financings, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, sales and acquisitions of businesses, technology and licensing matters, and contracting for third party services. Clients include owner-managed businesses, financial institutions, and numerous other not for profit organizations.

In addition, Melissa also practices in the area of privacy law, drafting privacy policies, advising on compliance issues in contracts such as service contracts, international and outsourcing arrangements and assisting with numerous other privacy law compliance issues for both the private and public sector. She also provides advice with respect to the review of contests and promotional campaigns and advising corporate clients on corporate governance matters.
