Megan Carrier is an attorney in the Manchester, New Hampshire office of Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA. Since joining the firm in 2011, she has developed a practice centered on civil litigation and land use matters. Megan represents businesses, property owners, insurers, and individuals in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as before administrative agencies, arbitration panels, and in mediation.
Her litigation practice includes a wide range of disputes involving commercial litigation, litigation – insurance, litigation – labor and employment, and litigation – land use and zoning. Megan regularly handles matters involving employment disputes, insurance coverage issues, land use conflicts, and complex contract and tort claims. She works with clients to evaluate legal risks, develop practical strategies, and advocate for their interests throughout the litigation process.
In addition to her litigation work, Megan advises developers, businesses, and property owners on land use and zoning matters throughout New Hampshire. She assists clients in seeking approvals from local planning boards, zoning boards of adjustment, and other municipal bodies. Her experience includes projects involving multi-family housing developments, affordable and workforce housing, substance use treatment facilities and recovery residences, and a variety of commercial and residential developments.
Megan also represents clients in appeals involving municipal land use decisions, helping them address regulatory and procedural issues that arise during the development process. Through her work with local boards, agencies, and courts, she helps clients navigate the legal and regulatory framework affecting development and land use in New Hampshire.
