Mckenzie Price first joined the Jacks | Griffith | Luciano in 2020 as a law clerk while completing her legal studies. After graduating law school and being admitted to the Mississippi Bar, Mckenzie formally joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2022. By September of 2025, Mckenzie was named Partner at the firm.
Since entering practice in 2022, Mckenzie has successfully argued multiple times before the Mississippi Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, was named a Top Young Professional by the Delta Business Journal in 2023 and was selected to the L.E.A.D. Bolivar Class of 2026. Mckenzie also wrote an article titled From Soapbox to Social Media: The First Amendment in the Digital Age of Law, which is published in the Vol. LXXII, No. 3, of the Mississippi Lawyer Magazine.
Mckenzie is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi, is the Vice President of the Bolivar County Bar Association, and serves as special counsel to the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions Character and Fitness Committee.
Mckenzie is a native of Cleveland, Mississippi, and a 2016 graduate and Hall of Fame inductee of Bayou Academy. From there, she attended the University of Mississippi, where she served as a Team Leader for the Luckyday Scholars Program and as the Academic Excellence Chair of Phi Mu Fraternity. Mckenzie’s undergraduate achievements included selection for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, as well as the Howard Stone Political Science Award and Excellence in the Study of Latin Award.
In 2019, Mckenzie graduated summa cum laude with distinction from the University of Mississippi in just three years with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in English and Psychology. She then attended law school at the University of Mississippi. During her time in law school, Mckenzie served as the Attorney General for the Student Bar Association, the Chair of the Student Advocacy Corps, and as an Honor Council Representative. Mckenzie also was a member of the MacArthur Justice Clinic and the Negotiation Board and served as Co-Chair of the Dean’s Leadership Council’s Law School Events Committee and as the Editor In Chief of The Advocate. She also was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal, where she served as the Associate Online Editor for Vol. 91 and was recognized as Best Staff Editor of the Year for Vol. 90.
While in law school, Mckenzie received numerous awards and honors, including Outstanding Student Awards for having the highest grade in multiple classes. Mckenzie was honored as an awardee of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities for 2021-2022. In May 2022, Mckenzie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, third in her class.
