I am a Partner at Linmac LLP with a practice focused on tax planning, private capital structuring, and succession strategies for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and privately held businesses. As both a tax and corporate lawyer, I work closely with clients to design integrated legal solutions that support business growth, wealth preservation, and long-term transition planning—helping them navigate every stage from formation and financing to exit and succession.

Clients turn to me for clear, creative, and tax-efficient strategies with respect to, among other things, the sale of businesses, intergenerational wealth transfers, division of matrimonial property in divorces, estate and terminal tax issues, inbound and outbound financing, private equity and hedge fund formation, and emigrating from Canada. I also support clients in launching new ventures, advising on optimal business structures and long-term tax strategies from day one. In addition, I represent clients in tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency, guiding them through audits and appealing tax reassessments.

I strive to uncover hidden and underutilized tax opportunities within my clients’ existing structures, ensuring that no advantage is left unexplored.
