Matthew "Matt" Driggs

Matthew Driggs is the founder of The Advocates, a leading personal injury law firm with offices across the western United States. Recognized by Best Lawyers since 2025, he specializes in Litigation – Insurance, Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants, and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. This recognition reflects the high regard in which he is held by his peers in the legal community.

Since earning his J.D. from the University of Utah in 1991, Matthew has dedicated his career to helping clients recover from injuries and hold responsible parties accountable. He launched his solo practice in Midvale, Utah, before establishing the Salt Lake City headquarters of The Advocates. Under his leadership, the firm has grown significantly, with branches in multiple states, and has secured over $500 million in compensation for clients.

Matthew’s approach emphasizes client-centered service, advocacy, and philanthropy. He is a mentor to new attorneys through the Utah Bar Association and an active member of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association and Montana Bar Association.

Outside the office, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, pursuing self-betterment, and traveling extensively.
