Matthew L. Williams is an Equity Partner at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. who concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability.
He joined the firm in 2003 and was named partner in 2009. For more than two decades, Mr. Williams has built a reputation as one of the firm’s premier medical malpractice trial attorneys. Through meticulous preparation, compelling courtroom advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to his clients, he has recovered more than $575 million for injured individuals and their families.

A graduate of the University of Illinois and DePaul University’s College of Law, Mr. Williams’ work has earned him consistent recognition among the legal profession’s most respected organizations. Mr. Williams is deeply involved in the legal community. He serves on the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the DePaul University College of Law Dean’s Council. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. A dedicated educator, he has lectured on trial advocacy, persuasion, and litigation strategy at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Notre Dame Law School.
Beyond his courtroom practice, Mr. Williams is deeply committed to serving his community. He currently serves on the board of directors for three local charity organizations: Kids Above All, Raising a Reader, and the Michael Matters Foundation.
