Matt is a Shareholder in the Corporate Department at Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA in Manchester, New Hampshire. Matt works with clients across multiple industries and stages of growth, from early-stage start-ups to established companies planning for expansion, investment, or transition.
His practice focuses on Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law, Corporate Law, Technology Law, and Venture Capital Law. Matt regularly counsels founders, owners, and management teams on entity formation, governance, shareholder and ownership arrangements, and business planning. He also assists companies in raising capital through angel investments, venture capital transactions, and other debt and equity financing structures.
Matt frequently works with technology-driven businesses on legal matters related to software licensing, intellectual property licensing, website development, and commercial agreements. He helps clients structure and negotiate contracts that support growth while addressing operational and regulatory considerations.
