Matt Altieri focuses his litigation practice on complex commercial disputes, including major construction litigation, class action defense, appellate litigation, and defense of personal injury claims.
In his construction litigation practice, Matt has advocated for clients asserting and defending claims involving breach of contract, negligence, defective work, delay damages, differing site conditions, indemnification, mechanic’s liens, prompt payment acts, commercial general liability coverage, and unjust enrichment, among many other issues.
He also has experience handling claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, Maine’s Unfair Trade Practices Act, and common law claims for fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress. His clients are individuals and companies in the insurance, construction, energy, and professional services industries.
