Matteo Leggett

Matteo focuses his practice on civil litigation and devotes significant time to professional liability defense. He also has experience representing refugees seeking asylum and other forms of immigration relief.

Matteo received his undergraduate degree from Whitman College, where he majored in Spanish. He received his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he was a member of the Connecticut Law Review. Matteo began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Alexandra DiPentima, Chief Judge of the Connecticut Appellate Court in Hartford. Before joining Lindsay Hart, Matteo worked for a Connecticut firm litigating class actions and other complex matters.

Matteo speaks Italian and Spanish.
