If you’re reading my biography, it may be because you or someone close to you is facing the aftermath of a serious injury or wrongful death. Choosing the right attorney is an important decision, especially when you’re dealing with life-changing circumstances. I represent individuals and families throughout Atlanta and Georgia in cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and personal injury litigation.
At Butler Kahn, I focus my practice on Medical Malpractice Law - Plaintiffs and Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs. I represent clients who have been harmed by negligence, unsafe conditions, defective products, trucking collisions, motorcycle crashes, and other serious incidents. From the beginning of a case, I work to gather evidence, inspect scenes, locate witnesses, preserve records, and prepare every matter as though it may ultimately proceed to trial.
I began my legal career handling catastrophic personal injury matters, complex business litigation, and appeals. After several years of practice, I decided to dedicate my work to representing injured people and grieving families. In 2019, I joined Butler Kahn, where I have had the opportunity to help clients in high-stakes injury and wrongful death cases across Georgia.
My recent case results include multiple seven- and eight-figure recoveries, including a $45 million settlement in a motorcycle accident case, a $40 million settlement in a guardrail accident case, a $30 million pedestrian injury settlement, a $3.5 million sexual assault settlement, a $1,050,000 trucking accident settlement involving a broken leg, and a $1,000,000 wrongful death shooting settlement. I have also helped secure many confidential settlements on behalf of injured clients and their families. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
I earned my law degree from Emory University School of Law, where I served as a managing editor on one of the school’s law journals. During law school, I pursued opportunities that provided practical litigation experience, including clerkships with the Honorable Sara Doyle at the Georgia Court of Appeals, an insurance defense firm, and the complex litigation department of a Fortune 500 company. I also spent a summer with Fried & Bonder, where I later began my legal career.
One of the things I value most about practicing at Butler Kahn is the ability to maintain close communication with clients. I intentionally limit the number of cases I handle so I can devote meaningful attention to each matter and remain accessible throughout the process. My clients are able to speak directly with me, ask questions, and stay informed about the progress of their cases.
Outside of the office, I enjoy cooking, exploring Atlanta’s restaurant scene, and writing music. Our office on Buford Highway is surrounded by many of the city’s favorite local restaurants, and I spend much of my free time searching for new places to eat with family and friends. I also enjoy creating jingles and other creative projects for the firm.
