Matt Baggett is the founder and managing partner of Baggett Law, a Jacksonville, Florida law firm focused on representing individuals and families in personal injury litigation and wrongful death claims. Since founding the firm in 2012, Matt has worked to build a client-focused practice centered on responsive communication, thorough preparation, and efficient case resolution. He leads the firm alongside his law partner and wife, Amanda Baggett.
Matt focuses his practice on Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, handling matters involving serious injuries, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, and class actions. He represents clients throughout Jacksonville and across Florida who have been harmed by negligence and unsafe conduct.
Before representing injured individuals and families, Matt began his legal career defending Fortune 500 companies at established law firms in Northeast Florida. That experience provided insight into how insurance companies and corporate defendants evaluate and defend claims. He now uses that background to prepare cases strategically and advocate for clients pursuing compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and other damages.
