Biography

A third generation lawyer and Greenville native, Mason “Andy” Goldsmith, Jr., provides clients with an insight and understanding that helps to deliver practical and efficient solutions.

Andy has built a practice serving and addressing the unique needs of the construction industry. Acting not only as legal counsel, Andy relies on established client relationships to anticipate and understand issues before they become large-scale matters. Drawing on experience addressing challenges related to scope, time, quality of work, and payment, Andy has also litigated the most complex legal claims.

Recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Martindale-Hubbell (“AV” preeminent rating), Andy has been involved in construction and surety disputes involving schools, churches, condominiums, highways, industrial plants, commercial buildings, and prisons, in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Andy has authored numerous publications related to construction law while serving as a peer advisor to industry professionals. He is a graduate of the University of the South and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
