Mary has represented a wide variety of healthcare providers and trade associations, including adult homes, home care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and developmental disability providers in litigation, regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement matters.
Her litigation experience extends to administrative proceedings and hearings before the New York State Department of Health, New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Mary has also litigated Article 78 proceedings in New York State Supreme Court and actions brought under the federal False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and related state statutes.
Mary has presented on assisted living compliance issues and written several articles and legal alerts on topics impacting the healthcare industry, including Medicaid reimbursement issues.
