A Counsel at Lenz & Staehelin's Zurich office, Dr. Martin Aebi is an experienced dispute resolution practitioner who has acted as counsel in numerous large-scale cases (also involving states) before arbitral tribunals and state courts. Originally focused on intellectual property related matters such as licensing and joint-development issues, his experience has broadened over time to cover a wide range of business areas including construction, M&A as well as banking. In addition to his work as party representative, Martin Aebi sits as an arbitrator.
Martin Aebi completed his graduate and post-graduate studies in St.Gallen (lic. iur., 1999; Dr. iur. 2005) and New York (LL.M., Columbia Law School, 2005). He was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2002. Martin Aebi joined Lenz & Staehelin in 2002 and has been a Counsel since 2011.
