Mr. Ross began his career as a trial lawyer with the National Labor Relations Board’s Region 21. He entered private practice and has been a management-side labor lawyer since 1975.
Mr. Ross has handled hundreds of labor matters before the National Labor Relations Board and in federal and state courts. He has also argued before the United States Supreme Court. He represents and advises employers on all aspects of labor-management relations law, including NLRA compliance, union organizing, contract negotiations, arbitrations, and injunctions. He also trains management on NLRA compliance.
Mr. Ross is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2010 and was selected for inclusion in 2011, 2012 and 2013 Northern California Super Lawyers. He has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of San Francisco.
He is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the District of Columbia Circuit; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California; and the Supreme Court of California.Mr. Ross received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Maryland in 1968 and his Juris Doctor from George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, DC in 1973.
