Recognized in Best Lawyers since 2027 Mark S. Roman is the founding partner of Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers in Clearwater, Florida, which he established in 1996. Admitted to The Florida Bar in 1986, he has practiced exclusively in personal injury law for four decades.
Mr. Roman is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, a designation held by fewer than two percent of Florida attorneys and one that requires substantial trial experience, peer review, and a written examination. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization's highest peer rating, and has been selected to Florida Super Lawyers each year from 2021 through 2026. His practice covers car and truck accidents, motorcycle and bicycle collisions, rideshare accidents, traumatic brain injury, slip and fall claims, and wrongful death. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Roman has served on The Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Pinellas County and chaired the Pasco County Grievance Committee. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, and the Clearwater Bar Association, is a past president of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, and is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Pinellas.
He earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1986 and a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida in 1981.
