Biography
Mark Hanin advises companies and individuals as they navigate government and regulatory investigations and litigation. Prior to rejoining WilmerHale, he was a postdoctoral fellow and Fritz Family fellow in the Ethics Lab of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University, where he taught a course on data ethics and carried out research on technology-related topics, including privacy and digital media. He also contributed to grant-funded projects, including developing a new framework for administrative data sharing and co-designing workshops on AI ethics for policymakers with Georgetown’s Center for Security & Emerging Technology. Mr. Hanin previously clerked for the Honorable Stephen F. Williams of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
