Mark advises First Nations on matters involving natural resources projects, including Crown consultation and accommodation processes, regulatory proceedings, environmental assessments, and land use planning. He negotiates and drafts impact benefit agreements with proponents of varying sizes and works with communities to support effective decision-making and the development of internal capacity.
Mark also practices civil litigation and represents First Nations in challenges involving government decisions, federal and provincial laws, and actions by private parties that affect Aboriginal peoples. He advises First Nations on government policies and legislative development, and provides legal support to administrative boards and tribunals.
