Mark A. Snyder is a Partner in Peckar & Abramson PC, based in the firm’s New York, New York office. His practice focuses on Construction Law and Litigation – Construction, representing contractors and construction industry participants on a wide range of project-related matters.
Before entering the legal profession, Mark spent several years working in heavy civil construction. This background gives him a practical perspective on the day-to-day challenges faced by contractors, construction managers, and project stakeholders. He works closely with clients to address project issues early, advise on strategic decision-making, balance risk, and mitigate disputes before they escalate into formal claims or litigation.
Mark represents contractors in the development, evaluation, and litigation of claims arising from complex commercial construction projects. His experience includes matters involving construction inefficiencies, project delays, differing site conditions, design errors and omissions, extra work claims, and wrongful termination disputes. His work spans projects throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Mark also regularly reviews, drafts, and negotiates construction contracts to help clients manage risk and clarify project responsibilities.
Mark is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration in American Government & Politics, from Trinity College, where he was a four-year varsity football player. Mark received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
