As a Partner with Brinkley Morgan’s Business Litigation and Appellate group, Mark A. Levy represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels, in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. Mr. Levy has significant experience representing parties in bankruptcy adversary proceedings involving objections to discharge, dischargeability of debts, fraudulent transfers, and related bankruptcy litigation, as well as in handling matters involving contract disputes, corporate disputes, business torts, real estate and foreclosure. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
An active member of the legal community, Mr. Levy is a Past President of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Broward County Bar Association. He is also a graduate of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class X and previously served as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee 17J. He was also recently recognized as a 2015-2017 Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine, and among the 2015-2017 Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine and 2016-2018 Best Lawyers in America by U.S. News & World Report.
