Mark A. Brown

Mark A. Brown is a trial attorney with more than 30 years of experience representing individuals and families in complex civil litigation matters. Based in Chicago, Illinois, he serves clients throughout the region as part of Lane Brown LLC, focusing on Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs. Over the course of his career, Mark has handled cases involving medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries, sexual abuse, police misconduct, and other serious personal injury claims in both state and federal courts.

Since earning his law degree in 1993, Mark has devoted his practice to advocating for plaintiffs in high-stakes litigation. After joining the Law Offices of Lane Brown in 2002, he has represented hundreds of clients in matters involving sexual abuse claims, product liability lawsuits, medical malpractice, and complex injury litigation. His approach emphasizes careful case preparation, client communication, and pursuing accountability on behalf of those who have suffered harm.

Mark earned his undergraduate degree in Economics, with a minor in Business, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1989. He received his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1993, where he served as president of the Decalogue Society and earned placement on the Dean’s List.

Outside of his legal practice, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. He also enjoys playing and collecting guitars and previously served as president of Executives Guild Ltd., a Chicago-area business association.
