Marjolaine Jakob's practice focuses on domestic and international insolvency law and related litigation.
She advises clients in connection with insolvency proceedings and represents their interests in related proceedings before the competent court and authorities. Marjolaine Jakob also regularly advises companies with regard to restructurings and related proceedings. In addition, Marjolaine Jakob has proven expertise in the field of international insolvency law and regularly advises, inter alia, foreign insolvency administrators on the addition of assets and claims (of the foreign insolvency estate) located in Switzerland.
Further, Marjolaine Jakob represents national and international companies in litigation proceedings before state courts and arbitral tribunals.
Marjolaine Jakob joined our firm as an associate in 2017. Previously, she has worked as a research assistant, specialising in international insolvency law and arbitration at a chair for civil procedure law, private law, international private law and comparative law at the University of Zurich. From 2009 till 2014, Marjolaine has worked first as a trainee and later on as an associate in a business law firm
