Biography

Marie-Josée Ouellette is a founding partner of Fidelis Law Droit.

Marie-Josée’s practice is focus on personal injury and long-term disability insurance claims.

She is an organized and approachable lawyer for whom customer service is very important. Her client-focused approach enables her to develop a successful working relationship with her clients. She strives to provide a professional service while making her clients feel at ease.

“I want my clients to know that I am approachable and available to them. I want to make things right for them, as they are victims – either after being injured or by being denied their right to disability insurance.”

She has seen first-hand the devastating effect an accident can have, not only on the person involved in the accident, but also on their loved ones. Marie-Josée wants her clients to concentrate on their recovery and their family, while she handles the legal side of their claims.

“I have always been interested in personal injuries and disability claims. I represent accident victims and wrongfully denied disability claimants, their interests and their rights. I am their voice, because they deserve to be heard and compensated for the injuries they have suffered.”

Marie-Josée is engaged in the legal community and currently serves as the President of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association. Over the last few years, she has regularly taught the Insurance Law course at Faculty of Law at the Université de Moncton.
