Biography
Ms. Bétournay practises mainly in the fields of insurance law, civil litigation, civil and professional liability and product liability.
She has written and collaborated on papers dealing with insurance law, professional liability and civil procedure, and has delivered speeches on these topics at conferences.
She represents a great deal of professionals, including engineers, architects, brokers and lawyers, as well as various institutions and corporations and their insurers before the Superior Court and the Québec Court of Appeal.
She has acquired extensive experience in risk management, litigation, complex dispute settlements, management of large scale litigation files and insurance coverage opinions.
She has also been invited as a speaker in many insurance seminars and conferences.
