María Jesús Parra

LLB from Universidad de Barcelona (1990). Admitted to the Bar of Barcelona in 1992. Partner within the Labor Law area at the Barcelona offices of Crowe Legal y Tributario since July 2017. Ms. Parra started her professional career as a Corporate Labor Relations Lawyer in 1991. Member of the Legal Area of the Spanish Trade Union UGT between 1993 and 1994, she resumed her career as a corporate legal advisor in 1995. In 1996 she joined the Labor Law area of Cuatrecasas in Barcelona and became a partner of the firm in 2005.

María Jesús has worked extensively in national and international labor consultancy for companies and senior managers. Specialist in Corporate Compliance, Health & Safety and New Technologies. She is recognized as a leading expert in business strategy within the labor area, having participated in large business restructuring processes, as well as in mergers and acquisitions. She is also a leading litigator and has extensive experience in collective bargaining and the implementation and monitoring of equality, diversity and non-discrimination policies in companies. She has worked in the Retail, Food, Automotive, Chemical, Life Science, Sports, Hotel and Tourism, Publishing and Education industries, among others.

María Jesús is part of the faculty of the LLM program taught at UIC and lectures regularly on labor issues in her areas of expertise.
