Clients seek Marisa’s reliable counsel on the full spectrum of immigration issues, including obtaining employment visas, investment and business-related visas and residency for foreign nationals, representing family members of permanent residents and U.S. Citizens, and assisting those seeking asylum. She has developed an expertise in the EB-5 field of visas as one of the first Spanish speaking attorneys handling high net worth clients from Latin America.

A highly experienced litigator, Marisa practices in all areas of Immigration law. She previously filed a petition for certiorari with the Supreme Court on an immigration issue that conflicted with different states. She has also filed writs of mandamus with the Southern District of Florida. Additionally, Marisa advises employers on compliance procedures and represents employers before Immigration and Customs Enforcement with respect to audits.
