Marc Zucker is a commercial litigator and appellate advocate with more than four decades of experience representing businesses, professionals and individuals in complex legal disputes throughout Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. At Weir LLP, his practice includes Commercial Litigation, Appellate Practice, alternative dispute resolution and related business matters in state and federal courts.
Marc Zucker has handled disputes involving contracts, corporate governance, construction, real estate, banking, insurance, D&O liability, distributorships, bankruptcy, trade secrets, the Uniform Commercial Code, employment matters, business torts, class actions, derivative litigation, fiduciary litigation, professional liability claims and disputes among principals of closely held businesses. He also represents clients in appeals and post-trial proceedings involving significant commercial and procedural issues.
In 2023, Marc Zucker served as chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He was also appointed in 2024 by the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board to serve a three-year term as a Hearing Committee Member in the District 1 disciplinary district.
In addition to his litigation practice, Marc Zucker serves as a neutral arbitrator and private mediator in commercial and consumer matters. He is a neutral arbitrator and mediator for the Commercial and Consumer Panels of the American Arbitration Association, an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), an arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, and an arbitrator and mediator for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is also a longtime member of the volunteer panel of Commerce Program judges pro tempore assisting the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and serves as a mediator for the Court’s Eviction Diversion Program. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed receiver in commercial matters.
