A recognized gaming law attorney, Marc serves as treasurer-elect for the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and has presented to international audiences about gaming law matters, with an emphasis on social and mobile gaming. He has worked with clients on matters related to obtaining Missouri Gaming Commission licensure, regulatory compliance and online gaming.
With over 20 years of experience in election law and campaign finance work, Marc represents candidates, ballot issues and Political Action Committees across the State of Missouri, including extensively drafted initiative petitions.
He began his career as legal counsel for the Missouri State Auditor’s Office and advised the State Auditor in constitutional, municipal finance and tax law matters including arguing cases before the appellate courts of the State of Missouri and the Missouri Supreme Court.
Marc was elected as Presiding Commissioner for Cole County in 2007 and served two full terms, leaving in 2014. He was tapped by the Governor’s Office to serve as a board member for the Missouri Public Entity Risk Management Fund and served as Chairman of the Board. He is past Chairman of the Board of Associated Industries of Missouri, the largest trade organization in the State of Missouri.
Marc also served as Treasurer of the Missouri House Republican Campaign Committee and continues his role as an active civic leader. He is past Chairman of the Jefferson City Rotary Club, serves as a volunteer for the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce and hosts a radio talk show every Sunday morning.
