Biography

Marc Spivak is the Managing Partner of Devry Smith Frank LLP’s Personal Injury Group. His practice is dedicated exclusively to personal injury litigation, representing accident victims and individuals pursuing disability claims.

Marc earned a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Civil Law and an LL.B. from McGill University. He joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in 1990 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992. Throughout his career, he has represented clients before Ontario courts and tribunals at both the trial and appellate levels. He is also an experienced mediation counsel, including in accident benefits matters, and regularly assists clients with complex accident benefits claims before the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

Known for providing attentive and personalized service, Marc represents clients in claims involving motor vehicle accidents, no-fault accident benefits, slips and falls, assaults, defective products, unsafe premises, occupiers’ liability, sports injuries, dental malpractice, dog bites, and health and disability benefits.

Marc takes a proactive and thorough approach to advancing each claim. Supported by a skilled team of law clerks, paralegals and legal assistants, he ensures clients receive timely assistance throughout their cases. He also works with an established network of medical professionals and other experts to assess and substantiate claims, helping clients pursue the full benefits and compensation available to them.

Marc is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, where he served as counsel for many years.
