Madina Abdi

Madina is an associate at Carbert Waite LLP. Madina graduated from the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law in 2017. Prior to graduating from law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society (with a silver medallion for the highest distinction in scholarship in the program). Prior to joining Carbert Waite, Madina worked at an international firm practicing in corporate securities with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance matters.

Outside the office, Madina enjoys assisting her family with their restaurant, reading and volunteering with various non-profits. Historically, she has spearheaded fundraising efforts on behalf of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
