Madalia’s legal career began as a prosecutor for Adams County, handling various serious criminal cases from start to finish, including homicide, domestic violence, sexual assault, and gang violence. Her valuable experience now informs her passionate defense of clients. She adeptly identifies weaknesses in the government’s case, achieving favorable outcomes in negotiations and trials. In private practice, she has secured numerous dismissals and jury trial acquittals. She has tried more than 60 criminal jury trials. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, educating future lawyers in trial advocacy. Madalia, along with her co-professor, coached the 2019 National Ethics Championship Team, 2020 National Ethics Championship Finalists, and the 2021 King of the Hill Championship Finalists.
