M. Magali Mercera

Ms. Mercera joined Pisanelli Bice PLLC in February 2011 and represents clients in commercial litigation matters in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her practice focuses on complex business disputes, including breach of contract claims, fiduciary duty matters, and property- and construction-related litigation. She regularly assists clients throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation strategy and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation. Ms. Mercera also advises clients on the review and negotiation of construction contracts.

In addition to her commercial litigation practice, Ms. Mercera is an active volunteer with the Children’s Attorney Project, where she represents children involved in the foster care system. She is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and families.

During law school, Ms. Mercera served as managing editor of the Nevada Law Journal and completed a judicial externship with The Honorable James C. Mahan of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. She was also a member of the Society of Advocates. Ms. Mercera received a Scribes Award from the American Society of Legal Writers and a Dean’s Award. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was a Millennium Scholar.
