Connell Mullins represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of commercial litigation and business dispute matters in Richmond, Virginia and throughout the Commonwealth. His practice includes representation in federal and state courts for plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving financial services litigation, products liability and personal injury claims,regulatory proceedings before the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC), contract disputes, business torts, employment litigation, intellectual property disputes, and other complex business litigation matters.
Connell has significant bench and jury trial experience serving as both lead and local counsel in contested proceedings. He works with clients through all phases of litigation, including pre-suit evaluation, discovery, motions practice, witness preparation, trial, and post-trial proceedings. His experience handling commercial litigation matters allows him to provide practical guidance tailored to each client’s business objectives and legal needs.
Before joining Spotts Fain PC, Connell served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson of the Eastern District of Virginia and to M. Langhorne Keith of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. His experience clerking in both federal and Virginia state courts provides valuable insight into litigation strategy, courtroom procedure, and case management in complex business disputes.
