Luke is an experienced property lawyer specialising in acquisitions and disposals of commercial, industrial and residential property as well as commercial and retail leasing. He also has extensive knowledge of strata titling and property finance arrangements.
What he does
Luke provides innovative solutions to complex client needs. He regularly advises on matters involving project delivery and development management agreements, strata and community titling, site due diligence and acquisitions, Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) issues and mixed use developments. Luke also acts for a number of significant clients managing their commercial and retail leasing portfolios on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications
Luke holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Macquarie University.
Life before Sparkes
Before joining Sparke Helmore, Luke worked in the Property and Projects team at a mid-tier law firm in Sydney. Before this, he worked for the NSW Government practising in property law and litigation.
Life outside of Sparkes
Luke makes the most of his weekends by spending time near the water—surfing, kayaking or fishing. He has an established background in music and continues to practise drums and guitar regularly. A devoted uncle of seven nieces and nephews, Luke has the perfect excuse to maintain his (sometimes) childlike nature.
