Luis Cortes works with clients to secure regulatory approvals in the areas of land use and alcohol beverage law, with significant experience in state and municipal alcoholic beverage license requirements, tied-house laws, and enacted federal legislation.

With a focus on the hospitality sector, Luis’ experience spans multistate licensing matters, as well as the State of Florida, including the City of Miami, City of Miami Beach, City of North Miami, City of North Miami Beach, City of Aventura, City of Miramar, City of Stuart, unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Pasco County, among others.

Luis guides clients through the extensive approval process for business and alcoholic beverage license applications, including preparing, completing, and expediting submittal for processing of applications to ensure issuance of new and transfer of existing licenses, while meeting the overarching goal and project deadlines of his clients.
