Loryn P. Riggiola, a Partner with Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, represents clients involved in construction and commercial disputes from initial counseling through litigation and/or arbitration. She works out of the firm’s New York and New Jersey offices serving clients nationwide. She has represented clients in both public and private sector projects, contract disputes, bidding disputes, defect and delay claims and commercial disputes. Ms. Riggiola has advised clients in the United States and abroad on a variety of matters, including the construction and operation of energy projects.
Ms. Riggiola also represents corporations and financial institutions in litigation involving complex commercial issues, including employment disputes, restrictive covenant and unfair competition litigation. She has handled litigation involving trademark, trade dress and palming off claims under the Lanham Act, together with insurance coverage issues relating these matters.
Ms. Riggiola handles litigation from consultation to trial. She has participated in numerous bench and jury trials in both New York and New Jersey. Ms. Riggiola has served as both lead and supporting counsel in state and federal trials. She has also appeared before the appellate courts in both New York and New Jersey on behalf of our clients. Ms. Riggiola has conducted mediation, arbitration and international arbitration proceedings. She monitors a diverse and active caseload.
She serves as the Co-General Counsel of the Women Builders Council (WBC). She is also a member of Design Build Institute of America, NY-Tri-State Metro Area. Ms. Riggiola received the AV Preeminent Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbbel. Ms. Riggiola earned her B.S. from Ramapo College and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review and a Centennial Scholar.
