Lisa Starks’ practice includes business, commercial, bankruptcy and other creditors’ rights issues, and commercial litigation and real estate matters, with a particular focus on resolving complex commercial foreclosures and receiverships. Lisa is at her best when helping clients to stabilize, rehab and sell their insolvent properties.

Lisa’s creditor representation ranges from loan modification to loan enforcement in state and federal courts. These representations have led to her helping clients with the sale of real and personal property, including mobile home parks, apartment complexes, industrial buildings, office buildings, retail centers, hotels and housing developments.

Lisa also handles business and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financial and real estate transactions, and estate planning matters.

At the heart of Lisa’s practice is clear client communication and the design of an actionable road map to gaining control over distressed property. With the objective of being efficient at every turn, Lisa focuses on mitigating superfluous argument in favor of progress. Because of the volume of matters and diversity of property types in which Lisa has been involved, she is able to provide the experience and perspective clients need to support their commercial objectives.
