Born in Bremerhaven in 1984, Dr. Lisa Feuerhake studied German and Anglo-American law in Münster. After passing her first state licensing examination, Dr. Feuerhake completed a doctorate on the subject of “Competition Law in England”. As part of her doctorate, she spent a research semester at the University of Oxford, UK, for which she received a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship. From 2010-2012, she completed her legal clerkship in Hamburg, with posts abroad at the Third Senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court and the international law firm Ashurst in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Lisa Feuerhake has been with ZENK since 2015. She focuses on food law and the German “Heilmittelwerberecht” (law on the advertising of drugs and other healthcare products). She advises medium-sized and international clients as well as start-ups on all aspects of labeling, composition and advertising of food, dietary supplements and other consumer products. She assists clients in the market launch and approval of new products as well as in competition law proceedings and disputes with authorities.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Dr. Feuerhake is co-author of the Food Law Handbook (ed. Streinz/Kraus, Beck-Verlag). She also lectures on various aspects of food law and regularly publishes articles in scientific journals.
Dr. Feuerhake is partner with ZENK and Managing Director of HFS Hanseatic Food Science.
