Lilith V. Xara

Lilith V. Xara is an associate at Litchfield Cavo LLP in Las Vegas. She focuses on insurance defense and complex civil litigation, including general liability, products liability, insurance coverage disputes, and appellate matters. Lilith represents mortgage servicers, banks, and insurance companies, and she is known for driving cases toward early, favorable resolution through disciplined case strategy and dispositive motion practice. She recently obtained summary judgment for a hotel/casino client in a premises-liability action arising from an alleged slip-and-fall incident.

Before joining Litchfield Cavo, Lilith practiced for nearly a decade with a national civil litigation firm in Nevada, including work in consumer financial services litigation and the defense of financial services providers. Her experience includes state and federal litigation and class actions, homeowners’ association lien-priority disputes, and regulatory investigations, and she has defended claims brought under RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, and TCPA, as well as state-law claims alleging wrongful foreclosure and improper debt collection. Earlier in her career, Lilith served as a law clerk to the Honorable Elissa F. Cadish of the Nevada Eighth Judicial District Court.

Lilith earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is admitted in Nevada and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of Nevada. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® since 2021 in Financial Services Regulation Law, named to the Super Lawyers Nevada Rising Stars list for eight consecutive years, and included in Nevada Business Magazine’s Legal Elite list from 2017–2022.
