Lesly Joseph is a Partner in the Personal Injury and Civil Litigation Practice Groups at Tierney Stauffer LLP. She first joined the firm as an articling student in 2007 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2008, advancing to Associate before entering the partnership in 2016.
Lesly focuses her practice on Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation, routinely handling claims involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, disability claims, and contract disputes. She has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the CPP Review Tribunal. She has also served as a speaker at the County of Carleton Law Association Civil Litigation Conference in 2011.
Lesly serves on the Boards of Directors for both the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and Vista Centre Brain Injury Services, having previously served on the Board of Directors for the Ottawa Mission. Her community commitment includes volunteering with Law Help Ontario’s Pro Bono Legal Clinic, REACH Canada’s Lawyer Referral Program, and the Ottawa Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program.
