Layli Eskandari Deal is a Partner in the Labor & Employment National Practice Section at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and focuses her practice on U.S. immigration and nationality law, and international immigration matters. She concentrates her practice on business immigration, including temporary employment visas and permanent residence for professionals, international transfers, investors, researchers, and nurses. In securing appropriate status for foreign national workers, Ms. Deal works with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, Department of Labor, and Department of State. She also aids with global immigration issues for companies and advises companies on general immigration policies, planning, and I-9 compliance.
In addition to business immigration matters, Ms. Deal assists in uniting families through the immigration process. She regularly represents individuals who wish to sponsor relatives to immigrate to the United States such as fiancés, spouses, children, parents, and siblings. In addition, she regularly assists individuals in citizenship matters. While her practice is focused on business and family immigration matters, Ms. Deal has litigated on a variety of immigration matters, both in Immigration Court and in the Federal Courts.
Ms. Deal was selected to the prestigious Rising Star list of the Super Lawyers Publication from 2012-2016. In addition, she has served on the Executive Committee of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Prior to her service on the Executive Committee, Ms. Deal served on various Chapter committees. She has also served on the Immigration Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
Ms. Deal is regularly invited to speak to various community-based groups and organizations, such as Continuing Legal Education Seminars held by the State Bar of Georgia, on immigration related topics such as family and employment based immigration, non-immigrant visas, and deportation and removal issues.
