Lawrence (Larry) Robert Weisler is an attorney with Cooney & Conway LLP in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the firm as an associate in 2004 after serving as a law clerk for two years. Mr. Weisler earned his B.S. from Michigan State University and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.
Mr. Weisler represents individuals and families in civil litigation involving asbestos exposure, mesothelioma, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury. His recognized practice areas include Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs. Since joining Cooney & Conway LLP, he has obtained settlements in more than 100 mesothelioma cases involving national manufacturers and distributors of asbestos-containing products.
As part of his work in asbestos litigation, Mr. Weisler has traveled to more than 100 cities across multiple states to collect testimony and other evidence from families of victims, coworkers, and witnesses. His work has included investigating exposure histories, identifying potentially responsible parties, and developing evidence for litigation.
Mr. Weisler is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He was named an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine.
