Laurent Roy is a Montréal-based Gowling WLG partner, acting as a legal adviser within the firm’s business law area, with a particular focus in the field of real estate law.
Laurent has been and is regularly called to advise and assist a large number of real estate developers, promoters and lenders in cases pertaining to land assembly, sale and acquisition of shopping centres, industrial class buildings and multi-residential buildings, and to negotiation and drafting of offers to lease and lease agreements. His practice is furthermore focused on the negotiation and drafting of various real estate agreements. Identified among Canada’s top real estate practitioners in Who’s Who Legal, Chambers Global and Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, he is a member of the Organizing Committee of the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute (Georgetown U.
