A Counsel at Lenz & Staehelin’s Zurich office, Lara Dorigo is an intellectual property lawyer with broad experience in all relevant fields and a particular affinity for technology-related issues. She primarily represents clients in patent disputes at the Federal Patent Court or before arbitral tribunals. While she has particularly vast experience with biotech and pharmaceutical patent disputes, she also handles trademarks and unfair competition litigation and advises on life sciences regulatory matters, licensing, R&D agreements and all sorts of technology transfer issues, branding strategies, selective distribution agreements, entertainment law and personality right issues.
In 2017, Lara Dorigo was elected by the Swiss Parliament as non-permanent judge of the Swiss Federal Patent Court.
After graduating from the University of St Gallen (2001), where she studied law, Lara Dorigo was admitted to the St Gallen Bar (2003) and joined Lenz & Staehelin (2003). She became a Lenz & Staehelin Counsel in 2014.
