Lance Milne is a founding partner of Mortensen & Milne, a Salt Lake City, Utah law firm representing individuals and families in complex civil litigation. His practice focuses on Aviation Law, Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation - Plaintiffs. Lance represents clients in Utah and across the United States in cases involving catastrophic workplace incidents, trucking collisions, oilfield accidents, aviation disasters, and other serious injury and wrongful death matters.
Through his work in high-stakes litigation, Lance has handled cases arising from commercial aviation incidents, defective products, industrial accidents, and transportation-related injuries. His approach centers on careful investigation, thorough preparation, and presenting clear, compelling claims on behalf of injured individuals and their families.
Before co-founding Mortensen & Milne, Lance represented corporations and insurance companies in civil litigation. That experience provides insight into how defense teams evaluate and respond to claims, which informs his approach when advocating for plaintiffs in personal injury, product liability, and aviation-related cases.
Lance is admitted to practice in Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. He is active in the legal community and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Utah Association for Justice. From his office in Salt Lake City, he works with clients locally and nationwide on matters involving serious injuries, wrongful death, aviation accidents, and defective products.
